Spirit of Tasmania Wi-Fi is available for a fee in all public areas (excluding cabins), including:
Deck 7, Deck 8 (Recliner Lounge), Deck 9, Deck 10.
To connect:
1. Turn on Wi-Fi on your device.
2. Select the network “SpiritInternet”.
3. Follow the instructions on your screen.

Price & Data Packs
When you connect to “SpiritInternet”, a sign-in page will open. Choose your plan and you will be taken to a secure checkout page to enter your credit or debit card details.

Content and usage limits
To provide a fair service for everyone, some high-bandwidth activities and sites are limited or blocked, including:
- VPN connections
- Torrent or similar large file uploads and downloads (for example operating system updates)
- Online gaming sites
- Streaming services such as Kayo, Netflix, Stan and Amazon Prime
Internet speed
Our internet is delivered to the ship via satellite. This means your connection will be slower and less consistent than typical land-based services, such as the NBN.
Free streaming TV in public areas
Free media streaming is available in all public areas (excluding cabins). You can stream SpiritFree.tv, our free-to-air channel, on your own device.
- Turn on Wi-Fi on your device.
- Connect to “SpiritFree.tv”.
- Open your internet browser.
- Go to SpiritFree.tv to start watching.
