Due to public health advice, last night’s sailings (Friday 24 September) from both ports were cancelled.

Passengers on board were kept informed throughout the evening and remained comfortable on board overnight.

Passengers who have been directly affected will be provided with full refunds and if they choose, will be rebooked on the next available sailing.

Spirit of Tasmania is working closely with health authorities in both Victoria and Tasmania to determine if there will be any impact on subsequent sailings. If there are any changes to our schedule we will notify passengers directly.

Spirit of Tasmania has strict COVID-19 safety protocols in place for all contractors, passengers and crew. Face masks are required in all public areas on the ships and in the terminals.

On all sailings our crew are regularly cleaning and sanitising high touch surfaces in common areas using 100% chemical-free, hospital grade disinfectant. After each sailing, the whole vessel including cabins are cleaned and sanitized.

The health and safety of our passengers and crew remain our highest priority.
